MICHAEL JACKSON SYRINGE TO BE AUCTIONED FOR £5 MILLION.

The syringe that administered the drugs that allegedly killed Michael Jackson is to be auctioned for £5 million. The family of the deceased ‘King of Pop' are said to be "furious and incensed" by the news and are desperately trying to stop the sale.An unnamed man has reportedly been touting the grisly item of memorabilia around auction houses in Las Vegas and it could go under the hammer on 25 June - the first anniversary of the 50-year-old singer's shock death in Los Angeles.Jackson's personal physician, Conrad Murray, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and is scheduled to face trial later this year, amid claims he injected a fatal dose of propofol, a powerful anaesthetic."This is one of the sickest lots ever put up. The syringe is no longer needed in the inquest or in Murray's forthcoming trial but the moral implications don't bear thinking about," explained a source."The guy who has possession of the needle has been in meetings with his legal team, making sure it is legitimate and his to sell," they said. The star's family are determined to block the move. "It's an incredibly distressing time for them.
