ALEXANDRA Burke has beaten Robbie Williams to the top of the UK music chart
The former X Factor winner’s collaboration with Flo Rida entered the chart at No.1 in its debut week, pipping Robbie’s single Bodies to the post. The 21-year-old’ first single, a cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, was last year’s Christmas number one after she won the fifth series of the reality show.Robbie, whose last UK number one was Radio in 2003, appeared on The X Factor earlier this month to coach the contestants and help promote his latest single. The former Take That singer has topped the singles charts six times since leaving the boy band, including the duet Somethin’ Stupid, recorded with Nicole Kidman. But it wasn't all good news for Alex. She had previously bet X Factor judge Simon Cowell £1,000 that Robbie would take the No.1 spot. The singer will be donating the cash to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home
