A woman professor killed three people at University of Alabama'

A woman professor killed three people last night when she opened fire at a university faculty meeting after she was told she would not be getting tenure.
Wearing a pink sweater, the Harvard-trained lecturer reportedly pulled out a gun and started shooting during a meeting of biology staff at the University of Alabama in the United States.
The lecturer, named last night as Dr Amy Bishop, was in custody last night. Three staff members were dead and at least three others were critically injured, said police.
The neuro-scientist’s husband opened the door for his wife before she started shooting, according to local reports.
In all, ten people – all staff from the maths and science department – were said to have been wounded.
University spokesman Ray Garner confirmed a woman and a man were both in custody but could not identify them or any of the victims.Dr Bishop and her husband were said to have been arrested but had not been charged last night.
A campus source confirmed that the shooter was upset because she was told yesterday morning that wasn’t getting tenure in the science department.
