A Chinese boy whose weighs five times as much as his fellow three-year-olds has been banned from his pre-school and branded a danger to classmates.
Obese Xiao Hao was believed to have ballooned to the weight of a small adult as a result of a medical condition.
However, doctors also believe his huge 10 stone frame could have been bolstered by relatives who overfeed him, a common phenomenom in China where couples are allowed just one child.
Hao: The toddler is watched by schoolmates as he eats his lunch
Last year, a new-born baby in England was taken into care after social workers assessed it at risk from obesity. Its mother - who cannot be named for legal reasons - weighed 23 stone at the time
Big problem: The three-year-old may have a hormonal problem, or could have been overfed by doting relatives
Now mother Xiao Lin, of Guangzhou, southern China, has asked for a solution to her boy's super-size problem after he was banned from nursery school.
he was described as a 'health hazard' to the other pupils he dwarfs by his size.
According to the Sun, she said: 'He means no harm he is just big and likes to play.
'I take him swimming for exercise but it is hard finding trunks to fit him and even the rubber rings are too small.'
