Michelle Obama didn't have to go far to get herself a got into the spirit of Halloween.
The go-getting First Lady spent the day picking pumpkins from the White House kitchen garden with the help of a few lucky schoolchildren.
The First Lady invited a group of lucky students from Tubman and Bancroft Elementary Schools over to take part in the event.
And the whole group got busy picking pumpkins and a variety of other vegetables using spades and pitchforks.

She was dressed perfectly for autumn in her black anorak, black trousers, black Tory Burch boots and a pair of bright-yellow gardening gloves.
The 46-year-old entered into the festivities with enthusiasm, tasting the vegetables and helping the kids weigh them.

The harvest is part of Michelle Obama's Let's Move campaign, which aims to fight childhood obesity in the U.S.
She says: 'The physical and emotional health of an entire generation and the economic health and security of our nation is at stake.
